Set Default Location in Windows 7

Windows 7 has a new feature called Default Location. You can use Default Location to enter a default location that programs can use to customize information and services for you based on your location.

Here is how to set Default Location in Windows 7:

1. Click the Start Menu --> the Control Panel --> Default Location.
2.The Default Location window opens up.
* If you want to provide a general location: Enter a postal code and select the Country/Region, then Click Apply and then Yes button.
* If you want to provide a precise location, Click the Down Arrow to view more options: enter an address, then Click Apply and then Yes button.
