"Switch User" feature is very useful and available in Windows 7. Here is how to disable switch user by Group Policy Editor:
1. In RUN or Startmenu Searchbox and press Enter. It'll open Group Policy Editor.
2. In left side, Choose Local Computer Policy -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Logon.
3. In right side, double-click on "Hide entry points for Fast User Switching" option. select to Enabled the option and close it.
4. Now from Shutdown menu, Welcome screen will disabled "Switch User" option.
