How to install Xmms on Ubuntu 9.04:

1.#add this repository to the sources.list
deb http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/intrepid ./

2.#update
apt-get update

3.#Start to installing xmms
apt-get install xmms

How to run Xmms:
Press Alt + F2 --> write xmms --> run it.
